About the Role Based in Melbourne, the Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for providing strategic oversight and exceptional leadership across our Attractions & Dining (A&D) businesses, which include the renowned Melbourne Skydeck, Eureka 89, Darwin Harbour Cruises, and Journey Beyond Cruise Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing the reputation of our brands to help exceed targets. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager of A&D and collaborating closely with the EGM of Marketing & Comms and the EGM of Industry Sales & Partnerships, you will develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies in tandem with the broader Journey Beyond group. You will lead a Sales & Marketing Executive, focusing on growing demand for A&D products, optimising visitation to our websites, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and budget, and delivering timely, high-quality sales and marketing activities and reports. Some key responsibilities include: Creating and implementing effective strategies for each A&D business to drive revenue and increase market share Establishing sales targets in line with business plans and monitoring progress to ensure financial objectives are met Carrying out competitor and audience research to identify trends, customer demographics, and effective strategies for outreach Overseeing marketing campaigns, analysing their effectiveness, and making recommendations for ongoing strategic enhancements Working with the in-house design team to ensure marketing collateral is on-brand, and collaborating with the JB Digital Performance Manager to keep website content up to date and aligned with campaign initiatives If you are passionate about elevating brand performance and are ready to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! Requirements Education/Experience Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related disciplines Demonstrated experience in Sales &Marketing, or extensive experience in a similar role in similar industries Excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal and Presentation) Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with social media, CRM and CMS platforms Skills/Knowledge/Attributes Understanding of SOE / SEM and ability to identify opportunities to optimize websites, focusing on conversion Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work independently and outside of standard office hours, excels in time management Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across various businesses, all with different audiences and working under tight deadlines A collegiate and collaborative style, working in a national matrix reporting environment Comfortable leading people and working in diverse environments Excellent stakeholder and relationship management experience Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment.
